Soma Haus Return and Refund Policy  

At Soma Haus, we aim to create a seamless experience for our customers by offering beautifully crafted furniture and décor inspired by slow living. If you're not entirely satisfied with your purchase, our return and refund policy ensures clarity and fairness for every customer.  

Returns
We want you to love your Soma Haus purchase. If for any reason you wish to return an item, you can do so within 14 calendar days of receiving it. To qualify for a return:  
- The item must be unused, in new condition, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.  
- Include a copy of your original delivery note or proof of purchase.  

Returns are at your own expense unless the item was defective or incorrect upon arrival. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your return to ensure it reaches us safely.

Damages and Issues
We take the utmost care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, if an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Provide:  
- Photos of the item and packaging.  
- A brief description of the issue.  

We'll evaluate the situation promptly and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as needed. Note that items shipped on pallets must be returned on their original pallet.  

Please keep in mind that our products often showcase the natural beauty of handcrafted design. Variations in colour, texture, and slight imperfections are part of their charm and not considered defects.  

Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:  
- Sale items.  
- Gift cards.  

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to process the transaction.  

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you haven’t received it, please reach out to us at shop@soma-haus.com.  

European Union Customers
For orders shipped to the European Union, you’re entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. During this time, you can cancel or return your order for any reason. Items must meet the return criteria outlined above.
